Usage of notes is subject to shared notes.
Example: You have a note and share it with your friend. Now, this note will not only be counted in your account but will be counted with your friend's account as this note has been shared.
Note that in the above example, only note count will be counted not the note storage which means if your friend who has pro+ tier shares a note with you (while you have a free tier plan), it will consume 1 note in your account but it won't impose the free plan maximum note size on your account.
The storage of shared notes are counted as per owner of the note.
Example: Suppose you have a free plan and your friend has a pro+ plan. Now if you create a note and share it with your friend, the limit will still be as per the free plan. This is because you have created the note and are it's owner. Whereas, if your pro+ tier friend made and shared the note with you, you would be able to use storage and collaborate as per the pro+ plan limits.
In case of failure of payments, we will give you 2 months to retry making the payment or contact us in case of an issue. On failing to do so, your account contents will all be deleted & be brought to the free plan.
Unless otherwise stated, SG Apps and/or its licensors own the intellectual property rights for all material on Smart Notes. All intellectual property rights are reserved. You may access this from Smart Notes for your own personal use subjected to restrictions set in these terms and conditions.
